Winery story
The Château Cabriéres winery is
located around a large castle built in the 14th century. The Arnaud family,
which owns the vineyard, is associated with Châteauneuf-du-Pape and wine from the
southern part of the Rhone Valley. The winery itself has a very specific soil
composition, which is covered with large pieces of quartz. This "stony blanket"
prevents the soil from cooling down quickly and that gives the wine a specific
character.
